Los aproximadamente 400 miembros del Collaborative Collider Detector del Fermilab (CDF) siguen analizando los bosones W producidos por el colisionador, conocido como Tevatron, rastreando numerosas fuentes de error para alcanzar niveles de precisi\u00f3n sin precedentes.<\/p><p>Si la supergravedad de W respecto a la predicha por la teor\u00eda est\u00e1ndar puede confirmarse de forma independiente, el descubrimiento sugerir\u00eda la existencia de part\u00edculas o fuerzas por descubrir y llevar\u00eda a la primera gran reescritura de las leyes de la f\u00edsica cu\u00e1ntica en medio siglo.<\/p><p>\"Esto revolucionar\u00e1 la forma en que vemos el mundo\", con implicaciones que pueden rivalizar incluso con el descubrimiento del bos\u00f3n de Higgs en 2012, afirm\u00f3 el f\u00edsico Sven Heinemeier, del Instituto Madrile\u00f1o de F\u00edsica Te\u00f3rica ( <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itp.kit.edu\/~sh\/uni\/uni_e.html\">Sven Heinemeyer ) dice que no pertenece a la CDF.<\/a>\"La part\u00edcula de Higgs encaja muy bien con la imagen conocida hasta ahora. Ser\u00e1 un campo completamente nuevo\".<\/p><p>El descubrimiento llega en un momento en que la comunidad de f\u00edsicos anhela encontrar fallos en el Modelo Est\u00e1ndar de la f\u00edsica de part\u00edculas, el conjunto de ecuaciones que desde hace tiempo recoge todas las part\u00edculas y fuerzas conocidas.
